Motion in. A fit out.

laxfit is a computer-vision pipeline that turns an ordinary phone clip into a biomechanical profile, then into gear you can trust. Here is what is actually happening under the hood.

01

Pose estimation

A single-camera clip is enough. We track your skeleton frame by frame, joints, angles, and timing, to reconstruct exactly how you move through a rep.

02

Biomechanical profile

Raw keypoints become meaningful signals: release point and height, hand path, top-hand drive, hip and torso rotation, stride, and how much whip you can actually handle.

03

The mapping

Your profile runs through a decision engine built on real stringing and gear knowledge. Every mechanic connects to a specific gear and pocket choice, with the reasoning attached.

04

The flywheel

Every fit, and how it felt in your hands, sharpens the model. The more players laxfit reads, the tighter the mapping from movement to gear gets.

Shot readTracking

The same tracking that powers elite motion capture, running on the phone already in your bag.

Straight talk

Honest about what vision can and can't do.

A fit is only useful if you trust it. So here is the real line between what laxfit measures and what it estimates.

What we read today

  • Release point, height, and angle
  • Hand path and top-hand drive
  • Hip and torso rotation, stride and base
  • Handedness, shot side, and tempo

What we are careful about

  • Absolute ball speed needs frame-rate timing and stays an estimate
  • Single-camera depth is inferred, not measured
  • The mapping starts as expert heuristics and improves with data
  • Fit is a strong starting point, not a substitute for feel
